The Royal Room
|
A favorite of many of our guests, the Royal Room is located on the second floor of the Inn and features an 1840’s French carved, walnut, queen size canopy bed. The half tester (pronounced teester, a word meaning half canopy) is 11 feet tall. This spacious room with 1800’s period Victorian furniture makes this room the perfect get-away. If you desire complete privacy you’ll enjoy your own personal sitting area facing a gas fireplace. The private sitting area gives you that extra space to spread out to read or just relax! This room includes a romantically designed Jacuzzi tub with a view of the fireplace for a truly relaxing and romantic evening. You will also enjoy your own personal bathroom with full amenities. The Royal Room also includes its own private porch with relaxing chairs and a bistro set. All this while you’re overlooking the city of Abbeville.
